Kitesport Ltd. (and the lessor) offers for rent rowing boats, kayaks, pedal boats, catamarans, surf bikes, sit-on-tops, stand-up paddleboard and other types of vessels (hereinafter vessels), paddles, life jackets and other boating equipment (hereinafter referred to as the material) bikes, skates, and other types of sports equipment (the equipment) to private individuals or organizations (and the tenants) under the following conditions:

Orders, reservations and cancellations

Orders: per phone, email or in person at the reception at the Camp Jestřábí I.

Reservation: If you want to be 100% sure that your desired vessel, equipment or supplies will be available, we recommend making a reservation. In this case, you must pay a booking fee of 50% of the target amount in cash or cashless once you have reserved the request for the payment of the deposit.
At the moment of paying the reservation fee the vessel, equipment or material is reserved for you.

Cancellation:

Cancellations within 30 days before the date of hire – the reservation deposit is fully refundable.

Cancellation 14 days before the date of hire – the reservation deposit is refundable at 80% of the booking amount.

Cancellations 7 days before the date of hire - the reservation deposit will be refunded at 50% of the booking amount.

Cancellation less than 7 days before the date of hire - the reservation deposit is non-refundable, and therefore it is forfeited.

Renting, dispensing time and dispensing place

Renting: Payment of a lease is paid at the moment of picking up the required vessels, equipment or material. In case of a lease longer than 8 hours it is necessary to pay a refundable deposit of 2.000, - CZK. In case of rent more than 24 hours it is required to pay a refundable deposit of CZK 5.000, -. The deposit covers PE vessels, rowboats, surf bikes and windsurfs. If you rent a catamaran or sailboat, the refundable deposit is set at 5.000, - CZK. For a lease longer than 8 hours and in the case of multiday leases the refundable deposit is 10.000, - CZK. When renting it is required to present a valid document with a photo (ID, DL or passport). The deposit is returned to the tenant in full only when the hired object is returned on time and it is not damaged or dirty.

Dispensing hours: Mo - Sun from 10.00 -18.00 . In the case of hiring larger quantities of vessels, equipment or material it can be arranged individually.

Dispensing place: Camp Jestřábí I., Černá v Pošumaví 152, 382 23 Černá v Pošumaví

Transport: The lessor does not usually provide transport. In case of agreement the transport fee will be paid according to the current price list.

Damage, repairs and loss of vessels, equipment or materials

The lessor has the right to charge the costs for repairing rented vessels, equipment or materials in case the tenant damaged it while using the object. The tenant pays for the work and materials required to repair the damaged object being charged 200, - CZK / hour of work. Likewise, the lessor has the right to charge an amount of 200, - CZK / hour for work if the rented vessel, equipment or materials is returned dirty.

With the loss of vessel, equipment, material or in case of damage, when the hired object can no longer be repaired, we demand compensation according to the type of borrowed vessels, equipment or material.

In case of loss: For catamaran 100,000 CZK, for sailboat 45.000, - CZK, for polyethylene (PE) vessels 16,000 CZK, sea kayak 22.000 CZK, surf bike 16.000, - CZK for surf float 8.000, - CZK for a sail 5.000 - CZK. For the loss of paddles we charge CZK 500 for the loss of kayak paddles 1000 CZK, for the loss of life jackets 500, - CZK for the loss of spraydecks PVC 500, - CZK, for the loss of helmets, pumps and other small equipment 500 - CZK. For the loss of bicycles 12,000, - CZK, loss of skates 4.000, - CZK. The price may be reduced due the wear to material, that is determined by the lessor.

Approximate repair prices: Repairing punctured polyethylene (PE) boats is at least 2000 CZK + transport according to the price list of services. The price always depends on the current calculation service. Repair of torn sails is at least 1000, - CZK. The price always depends on the current calculation service. Repairing a pierced inner tube of a bike (when mantle is not damaged): 200, - CZK.

Not returning the rented material: If the tenant does not return the rented vessel, equipment or material at the scheduled time, the lessor shall charge the same amount of time that corresponds to the time of another lease. If the tenant does not return the rented vessel, equipment or materials within a period longer than four hours after the original return, a fee will be charged for a day's rent along with a surcharge of 100%. If the tenant does not pay the lessor the repair costs, loss of material or rental within the specified time (the due date in all the above cases is 15 days) he is obliged to pay the lessor the owed amount and a default penalty, which is 5% of the owed amount for each week of delay. If the tenant does not return the rented vessel, equipment or materials, he is obliged to pay the lessor the full amount equal to the nominal value of the rented object including penalties that amount to 10% of the value of the rented object.
